Review: Winter Wishes Outfit

Hey everyone! Back when I bought Camille, I debated between purchasing the Winter Wishes outfit or the PJ’s. Well, the Winter Wishes outfit won and Camille is going to help me review it. Yup! The Winter Wishes outfit is $28 dollars from American Girl and includes a dress, cape, shoes and a tiara. The dress itself is a pretty plain style and is completely covered in glitter. It shed a bit at first, but thankfully it wasn’t a sparkle explosion. {Read More}

Review: Wellie Wisher Camille

Hi guys! Today I’m going to be reviewing Camille for all to see… and read. 😉 So let’s get started! Camille is a Wellie Wisher, so she stand only 14.5 inches, much smaller than the 18 inch dolls. Camille has very detailed, gorgeous blue eyes and a unique freckle near her left eye. Her eyes don’t close, probably because these were targeted for a younger audience and they didn’t want silver eye to be an issue. 🙂 Overall, her face {Read More}

Pennies for Parents – A Photostory

Jessica nice and cozy on the couch, lazily wasting the afternoon away, when the doorbell rang. “I’ll get it!” She hollered, before any of her sisters could get up. Jessica liked being the first to know things. And right then, she hadn’t a clue who was at the door. Jessica shuffled over to the door and turned the knob. At the doorway stood a little girl, about 5 or 6, holding a purse. Her large blue eyes looked up innocently {Read More}

The Mini Awakening ~ A Photostory

It had been a long afternoon at the mall, watching Spring try on soccer shoes and dropping Amaya off at ballet class. But I was finally back home. I couldn’t wait to see what Josefina had made for dinner. I knew it wasn’t chili bean soup, because Grace had happily donated all the the canned beans and forbidden any other type of bean from being smuggled into the house. I was just nearing the door when Jessica threw it open. “Pippa! You have to help {Read More}

Tutorial – How to Care for Truly Me #58’s Hair

Truly Me #58’s hair makes her one of my favorite dolls. It’s very short and doesn’t get messy easily, but when her hair looks like she just got out of bed, it’s time to break out the hair styling tools. Today, Amaya is going to be my example. She is very happy, and since I haven’t really done her hair much, it’s not the most pretty it’s every been. 🙂 As you can tell it’s all over the place and {Read More}

Possible Beforever Trademarked: Nanea Mitchell

AG trademarked a new name this week: Nanea Mitchell. The name means “fascinating” in Hawaiian. This could be the name of a new rumored Beforever character. Her time period is rumored to be around the attack on Pearl Harbor. Her code name is already known: Pearl. Probably because of her time period I’m guessing. The name is trademarked in dolls, doll clothing, doll accessories and even online games. Personally, I’d love to see her come out. I’m wondering if she’ll {Read More}

Meet Amaya – The Unexpected Addition

Allow me to explain: In May, American Girl was having a Truly Me doll sale. All of the dolls were $98. But strangely, AG only did this for certain states and cities. It was around the time when my Mom was buying my little sister’s birthday gifts, and the free shipping deal was still available, so I thought, “Why not?” I never bought a doll from the Truly Me bundle sales, because the dolls were always paired with something expensive. {Read More}

Fangirl Shopping ~ A Photostory

“Bethany, are you sure you don’t want to come with us?” Pippa asked once again. Spring, Grace and Pippa were all going shopping at the mall. They invited Bethany along, but she insisted on becoming a couch potato and eating popcorn all day. “I’ll be fine.” Bethany shouted from the living room. “Shopping is so not for me.” “What about you, Josefina?” Grace shouted towards the kitchen. Only the sound of pots and pans could be heard. Grace grimaced. She {Read More}

News: Melody Ellison Mini Doll and More

AG now has the Melody Ellison Mini Doll for sale on the American Girl Publishing site. She is super cute, though I’d like her better if her hair was a bit straighter… That curl looks a bit out of control. Her dress is really similar to the 18 inch doll, and the tiny blue bows are adorable. 🙂 <3 They also have released a new activity book, Explore with Lea, which is kind of like the Baking with Grace book. {Read More}
