Prize Package Reviews – Sparkle Sweater Outfit

So, it seems like I’m finally getting around to the reviews of my prizes I won in the World by Girls contest. I’ll try to do the reviews in order of smallest to largest, but outfits aren’t really small, or large. 😉 The first prize I’ll be reviewing is the Sparkle Sweater Outfit. It costs $30 from American Girl. Did you groan and say, “Not Jamie again!” ? Hopefully you did not. 😉 Anyway, the outfit consists of a sweater, {Read More}

Review: Spring Breeze Dress

Hello everyone! Today I’m going to be reviewing the new Spring Breeze Dress Set for dolls from American Girl. I purchased it on a trip to the AG store last weekend. 🙂 Lea was picked to model this time. 🙂 Ahem, I mean, she’s my newest doll, so of course she’s modeling it! 😉 When I first saw this outfit I loved it immediately. It looks like an outfit I’d wear and the sky blue color just screams springtime! Here is the {Read More}

Review: Kit’s Desk

For Christmas, Catlover02 and I got Kit’s Desk from our grandma (thank you!). Even though it’s from another time period, I think it’s pretty timeless and it’s a great furniture piece for our dollhouse. 🙂 Kit’s desk set is $100. It includes 1 desk and 1 chair. Let’s start with the chair. The chair is made of wood and metal, and it can spin smoothly around. Here’s the base. Here’s what makes the chair spin around. I don’t how much {Read More}

Review: Sit & Snooze Fold-Out Bed

This bed is one of my favorite things I received for Christmas this year. It’s a great addition to my doll’s house, specifically the bedroom. I mean, I didn’t really have much else in there, besides the bed. 🙂 A blanket and small pillow are included also. First of all, I love the way it looks in the doll’s room. It’s a very colorful piece of furniture. The chair/bed itself is soft lavender color. Personally, I love it, but I’m {Read More}

Book Review: Lea Dives In

My mom went to Barnes and Noble last Saturday and picked up some American Girl books, including Lea’s first 2! I started reading “Lea Dives In” right away. Now that I have finished reading it, I’m going to write a book review! NOTE: This review contains SPOILERS! The book is by Lisa Yee, who also wrote Kanani’s books. The summary of the book from the back cover: “Lea is ready for adventure on a family trip to Brazil, where her {Read More}

Review: Playful Polar Bear Pajamas

When the polar bear pajamas were first released, I thought they were adorable and I knew I would probably add them to my doll clothing collection sometime. The rest of my sisters were ordering a few things with free shipping in September, I think, and I decided to buy these pajamas. I was going to save them for Sarah to wear on Christmas morning, since that’s  her birthday. But I really wanted to get them out and so I waited {Read More}

Review: Pippaloo’s Madeleines

Hello! Grace here. Today, I am going to be reviewing Pippaloo’s madeleines. Pippaloo makes delicious treats for dolls. They all look very realistic! Take a look. They are a French treat, so they are a great addition to La Patisserie. 🙂 As you can see, they are perfectly doll-sized and shaded to add detail. The madeleines are fully baked, to ensure customer happiness. 🙂 This set came with 5 plain madeleines and 5 chocolate dipped madeleines. Mmm…. They look very cute {Read More}

Review: Hot Lunch Set

I took the photos for this post a looong time ago. And today I needed to make a post so I decided to use them. My sister, Samanthalover bought the Hot Lunch Set and she allowed me to write of a review, even though I don’t own it. 🙂 Kanani will be helping out today. 🙂 Here is the complete set. Well, minus the tissue paper napkin that isn’t very good quality… Another angle. I love how easy piece goes {Read More}

Review: Grace’s Bistro Set

Hi world! It’s Grace here. I’m going to write a review of my bistro set! Bonbon came along to help too. 🙂 Look at that sweet face! The first thing we will take a look at is the menu. The menu is made from a plastic teal with different accents on the border. In the set, it includes 2 sticker sheets of words, numbers, and symbols for creating your own menu. This is just an example. Here’s the base. It {Read More}
