Spring Breezes – A Photoshoot

Who else takes photos of their doll for Easter and posts them over a week late?

Me!

I hope you all enjoy them anyway! ;) Right now, I’ll just call them spring photos. :)

I love the bokeh from the grass. :)

I had some more pics of Darica but it was windy and the dolls were not wanting to stand up. ;)

I took all these photos in full sun. I used a reflector on the right side to bounce the sunlight back into Grace’s face while the sun was at her back. From that angle, the sunlight created a halo of light around her in some pictures. I’m pretty pleased with how they turned out. :)

Oh, and my “The Force Awakens” piano book came in the mail today. :)

P.S. The Guiding Compass Part 5 is coming tomorrow! :)

  1. These pictures are gorgeous and look so springy! I love them! Grace is so pretty in that outfit, and I really like her hairstyle. :) Oh, and all the animals, especially the chicks, are really cute, too. :)

  2. Amazing pictures!! Ahh I play the piano and so want a TFA book of sheet music! Can i ask, where did you order it from?

    • Thank you so much! It’s from Amazon! There are 2 different kinds – piano solo, and easy piano. Easy piano is easier than piano solo, but I got piano solo because I wanted a challenge. It’s not too hard so far! :)

  3. So awesome! I love the trick with the reflector! Congrats on the Star Wars music! I am a total Star Wars GEEK!!! When I went to the music store (I play piano) they had nothing from the force awakens…. So I just got one with songs from the first couple movies.

  4. Hi Americangirldollartist! I was just wondering if you could draw my doll family! You don’t have to, of course, but I think it would be so cool if you did! If you say yes, I’ll send you a picture of the outifits and what they look like!. Thank you!

    • Hi samanthadolls! I would love to draw your dolls for you, but I am really busy, and don’t offer doll drawings through my blog anymore. However, I do it through my Etsy shop, Peppermint Pursuits. I have the pricing there if you’re interested. :) I just figured out how to color dolls in Photoshop, by the way, so the color would be optimized for online use, such as a profile pic! :)
