Traveling in Style ~ A Photoshoot

Okay, so assuming you’ve all met Winnie inย THISย post, she’s back, and even more gorgeous than ever. Seriously, her hair is so thick and long! *dies*

(You probably already know I’m obsessed with it by now…)ย ๐Ÿ˜‚

When I took these photos, I had just found the perfect spot for the photoshoot I was planning… The problem? It was at the top of a huge hill. ย Not one to chicken out so easily, up I went, carrying my laundry basket full of photoshoot supplies up the hill, past all the neighbors’ houses to take the perfect photos I had imagined. What I learned from that experience was this:

I really need to invest in a bike trailer. Or else my hip is going to be permanently damaged. (I’m just kidding, but still… A camera, a doll, the props and the reflector make for a pretty heavy basket.) ย ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Aside from that, these photos turned out just fine, so enjoy! ๐Ÿ˜Š

So many dark curls.ย ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ย  She’s definitely a fashion queen who’s going places!

Isn’t the lavender coat so pretty against Winnie’s dark skin? ๐Ÿ˜ย Lighter shades really make her coloring pop.

Such a perfect little model. ๐Ÿ˜‡ย She is definitely in for more photoshoots in the future, and I have so many ideas on how to style her adorable hair. ๐Ÿ˜

What’s your favorite photo of the Winnie?

  1. Ok first off she is so so unbelievable beautiful. Second, the picture of her on the bench, you should SERIOUSLY send it to AG. I kid you not. It’s perfection. I can so see them using it. DO IT. SEND IT TO THEM OK?

  8. Hmm, my favorite picture was probably the sixth one! I just love the little bus stop!! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜! Winnie is gorgeous, and her hair is so pretty! Congrats on your new doll, and your amazing photography skills!! :D

  9. Great photos! You need the big tote that Thirty One sells, it has straps so you can put it on your shoulder. Xyra from Tea Time With Melody Q told me about how well they work, even with a multiple doll situation and I have to agree with her. Way lighter and easier to carry than a laundry basket.

It’s called the Large Utility Tote, and holds a lot.

  10. Hi! I love the first photo, but all are gorgeous!

Haha! Thank you, Flo! Yes, the Large Utility Tote is awesome. Just enough structure, holds 7 dolls plus some accessories for your photo shoot. Another favorite is the Soft Utility Tote. Holds just as much but no rigid frame. I used my soft utility tote for the recent trail ride post. Was able to take both horses and dolls 100 yards down the trail hands free. :-)

  11. Great pictures! I really like how you did a little bus stop, and it was a really pretty setting! Love the dress on her, too!
    Have a great day!
