Today, I will review the new American Girl app: Sweet Shop!

First, I will show you what you are supposed to do in it.

The object of the game is make treats and by making them, you unlock new ones. When you push the play button….

…..this appears. This is the first recipe you have. By baking this, you can unlock other treats, such as cream puffs, petit fours and macaroons. Yummy!

To start making the cupcake, you drag the ingredients to the bowl one at a time. Then you drag the utensil to the bowl. It will tell you which one to pick.

You use your finger to “mix” the ingredients in the bowl.

Then, you pick out a color of cupcake wrapper to use. Sometimes customers want a specific color.

Press the bag to pour the batter. As you pour, a bar appears on the meter on the left. If it get too high (into the red zone) you will not get as many points.

Then, it’s time for your cupcake to bake!

This is my favorite part. I like pouring the frosting.

Then you are done. Sometimes, you need to do it as fast as you can, because a customer needs it fast. Other times, you need to bake it more than once because a customer is having a party.

There is even a few real recipes you can try (they aren’t very healthy). Ha ha.

I really like this game. I love that you can unlock new things! It makes me want to keep playing.
