American Girl has released the movie trailer to Lea’s new movie, Lea to the Rescue!
It was rumored to be “Lea Leads the Way,” but it’s not. If you say it out loud, it does sound strange on your tongue. I’m glad they switched it. :)
I am looking forward to watching it sometime. :)
The actor who plays Lea looks almost too young, compared to Olivia Rodrigo, who looked a little old for her part as Grace, in Grace Stirs it Up.
The sloth is adorable and Aki looks so fun. :) I like how it’s set after the books so it’s like a 4th book for Lea. And it looks full of adventure!
I don’t like, however, that instead of Zac having a crush in the books (an unnecessary addition), he has a girlfriend in the movie.
Even though Camila isn’t in the movie, a new girl named Aki from a Brazilian tribe is Lea’s new friend. I think she looks like a lot of fun. :)

I don’t exactly like the actress who plays Lea. She doesn’t look like her at all. She also sounds kind of bratty in the movie. :(
I think that Zach should have a girlfriend in the movie. And the girl who is Lea does look too young, unlike Saige, Grace, etc.
Sorry! I meant Zach SHOULD NOT have a girlfriend in the movie.

The movie seems to be more fictional, and not based on the books. I’m kind of disappointed that it dosen’t have Camilla in it. I really liked the books. I can’t wait to see it!

I’m super excited to see this when it comes out. I really like the fact that it takes place after the books so I won’t have to compare it to them as much. ;)

Hmm…. I agree, the actor DOES look a little too young. Unfortunately she does not look more like Lea than what I expected. And I also didn’t really like her attitude in there trailer! Well, hopefully the movie will be good! Thanks for showing it!
I’m not really sure what I think… It seems like American girl can’t have an actress who looks the right age. And, I don’t know if it’s just me, but I always feel that the girls look kind of unrealistic. :(
I’m having mixed feelings! That girl looks NOTHING like the Lea doll, AND she seems about seven years old. I just…Don’t know.

I think Lea looks like a good age I think it is nice how they are not castings teenagers to play the parts of 9 year olds.
Also I think the cover of the movie looks way to similar to Graces
I looked up the actress, and she is only 6 days younger than me! She was born 10/10/03. She looks young for her age. She was in, We bought a zoo, Child of Grace, and some others. I really don’t like her attitude in this trailer.
I really liked the trailer, although I haven’t read the books, I like how there is a lot more at stake. It’s more serious and I don’t know..I kinda like it :)

I agree that the actress who plays Lea looks WAY too young. She looks more like 7 or 8 instead of 10. She also doesn’t really look a lot like the Lea doll….I like the illustrations in the books and the doll way better than the actress.
I saw the movie and I think I liked it a lot. It was very adventurous and it has good suspense. You should watch it sometime.
