AG’s 30th Birthday Gift to Us – Better Beforever Savings

Yesterday American Girl announced on their Facebook page that they were going to have a special announcement. I tuned in to their page at 7:30 CT.

Each Beforever character has a bundle with an outfit or two, and an accessory set. Normally priced at $205 – 210, these bundles are now $150 each, one day only.  That’s a pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

These collections remind me more of Jill’s Steals and Deals. The prices are a little higher, but I guess that’s what AG has to do to make their sale products available to more people. They can’t lose too much money.

You can check the current bundles on their site HERE.

I’d totally get one, but I try to get my dolls at the beginning of each year, and I don’t really LOVE any Beforever characters currently. Plus I’m waiting for further discounts because Christmas is right around the corner. 😀

Still, this is a great opportunity to save on someone’s Christmas gift or a little treat for yourself. 🙂

I was a little surprised though. This is AG’s 30th anniversary. I would think they’d do something bigger to celebrate, or announce it earlier in the year. Oh well.

Which bundle is your favorite?

  1. Kind of a dissapointment. 😐 They made it seem so exciting, and this is just a sale. I don’t have 150$ anyway. Lol.

  2. They hardly did anything for the 25th anniversary in 2011. They just had special edition mini dolls.

  3. Wow! 30 years… Congrats, American Girl! And thanks so much for sharing this, AGDA! You’re always so on top of the latest AG news! 😀

  4. Rebecca’s

  5. Seeing this collection makes me wish I hadn’t got Maryellen- then I could save money by buying her here! 😛 I think these collection are fantastic and some of the best AG’s ever had. 🙂
