Dara started Small Dolls in a Big World with her sister Dacey back in 2014 and has been photographing her dolls ever since. Because of her American Girl collection that started when she received her first doll in 2009, she’s written stories, sewn doll clothes, and made coloring pages, all here on the blog. Now that Dara’s older, she’s not as active, but she still loves her dolls just the same. If you want to see Dara’s latest work, check out her https://smalldollsinabigworld.com/old-woman-dating-younger-man-tiktok/ (@india dating site) for a collection of favorite photos and inspired artwork.
Dacey has been collecting dolls since she received her first American Girl doll in 2009, and been photographing and writing stories since the blog first started in 2014. Over the years, she has learned how to sculpt miniature and perfectly doll-sized food, even tried her hand at owning a small business with Dara on Etsy. Currently, Dacey is enrolled in college for graphic design, but she still enjoys photography and hopes to bring the same happiness to others as she discovered scrolling through doll blogs back then. Dacey is more active on her Instagram account (@https://smalldollsinabigworld.com/the-matchmaker-1958/) which she occasionally updates to share the smaller photoshoots she captures in her free time.
