When the polar bear pajamas were first released, I thought they were adorable and I knew I would probably add them to my doll clothing collection sometime. The rest of my sisters were ordering a few things with free shipping in September, I think, and I decided to buy these pajamas. I was going to save them for Sarah to wear on Christmas morning, since that’s her birthday. But I really wanted to get them out and so I waited until the first week of December and put them on Kanani, as an early birthday present. Her birthday was December 9th.
The pajamas are $24, and it comes with 1 tunic, 1 pair of leggings, 2 slippers, and 2 stretchy hairbands.
This is how the pajamas look on Kanani while standing.
The tunic is made of soft knit fabric. It’s very good quality and the shirt fits very nicely on the doll. It’s a little fitted, but in a good way.
The polar bear graphic is white and sparkly, as are the snowflakes. The sparkles have a clear, smooth layer over them so they don’t come off onto everything.
There are ruffles on the bottom of the tunic, which add length and cuteness. :)
The leggings are stretchy knit as well, and are very durable. They stay on the doll with elastic. The pattern of polar bears, candy canes, holly and snowflakes is adorable. I love it!
The slippers look like a sweater, with soft fur on the top. The fur is very tight, and it’s almost impossible to pull them over the leggings, so I just scrunched up the leggings on the right. I think the slippers are super cute though!
The pajamas also come with 2 stretchy hair bands. The color doesn’t quite match the outfit, it has an orange tint to it, as you can see in the photo. I don’t mind though, the cuteness of the leggings make up for it!
Kanani is all ready to have sweet dreams on Christmas Eve.
I rate these pajamas 4.8 stars out of 5, because of the strange-colored hair bands, and the difficultly in putting the slippers on over the leggings. I really love the pattern of the leggings and the shirt, they are super soft and look great on Kanani. I totally recommend them. They are my favorite American Girl christmas pajamas so far. The red is so festive!
Here are some bonus pictures I took the night before:

Those look A-MAZ-ING on Kanani! They are super adorable! I don’t think I will be getting them. I have the blue ones like these from 2013.
Great review! I really like the Polar Bear Pjs. I think they’re the cutest pajamas AG has ever made!

Thank you! I use a Nikon 7.100 camera, with a 35mm lens. :)
I love the pajama pants print and these pj’s looks so much more festive than last years! Although my favorite would have to be the blue polar bear ones :) The pictures at the end are so cute!
Thanks, I think red is so much more festive then pink. :)
