Some of you may remember that back in the day, my sister Dacey and I ran an Etsy shop called Peppermint Pursuits. I sewed doll clothes and she made miniature clay food. We held releases, designed packaging and shipped out orders together. I have so many good memories of times we spent at the little table we both worked at, listening to music as we crafted. As we’ve grown up, Dacey and I found ourselves with a lot less free time to make such detailed creations. While I haven’t using a sewing machine in quite some time, I still enjoy the process of running an Etsy shop. That’s why I decided to open a new shop in 2019: Dara Draws.

At the time, I was specifically practicing drawing portraits and digital art, so it made sense to pivot and create something new. Dara Draws is my current Etsy store that I update from time to time with my favorite art pieces turned into prints and stickers. :) It’s my little side hustle, if you will.

AND, if you’re following me on Instagram, you would have seen the little portraits I drew of Samantha, Molly and Kirsten – the original American Girls. I was so happy with how they turned out, I decided to turn them into stickers. I’m excited to announce that they’ve been added to my Etsy shop and are available for purchase. :)

UPDATE: the American Girl stickers are sold out!! Thank you so much for the support! I’ll be doing a restock as soon as the new stickers come in. They are currently in production and should arrive in a week or two. Be sure to follow me on Instagram or favorite my Etsy shop to be notified when I announce a restock date.
