Review: Pomeranian Pajamas

Hello everyone! I haven’t been as active on here because I started school this week! So far it’s been great, and I’ve been having a lot of fun. I’m also busy working on my next Etsy release filled with clothing and coloring pages. :)

But today, I’ll be reviewing the Pomeranian Pajamas.

Tay will help with this review, as the pajamas do belong to her. :)

The pajamas cost $24 from American Girl and the outfit comes with a shirt, pants, a pair of slippers, and 2 hair ties.

The shirt is adorable! The fabric is really soft, and the fit is a bit looser on the dolls than other shirts. I actually like that because it makes it more like a lounge outfit. :) One of the cute details is bands on the sleeves with the same pattern as the pants. I love how it ties the top with the bottoms.  And the Pomeranian graphic! *dies* That is just the cutest  thing ever. I love their pet artwork, and this is no exception! <3

The shirt closes in the back with Velcro.

The pants are made of a slightly different material, but they are made from a soft knit. I love the color, and all the little paw-prints! There are stretchy knit things (really, what are they called?) on the ends of the pant legs to help them from falling all the way down. At the top, the pants stay on with elastic; very easy to put on. :)

I’ve never seen slippers like these before. They’re like a knitted slipper with a cotton sole. The Pomeranian’s eyes are a big strange on the embroidery but I like how it’s actually sewn on and not just printed. The slippers don’t stay on too well like most doll slippers, so it’s best of you take them on before your doll gets in bed – she might lose one. ;) :D

Finally, the hair ties. They are just like all the other hair ties American Girl makes, except these are the same blue color as the shirt. Once you use them, they get a little stretched out, so I try not to wrap it 5 times around the ponytail. :) Once or twice works for me.

PomeranianPJSReview

I rate the Pomeranian pajamas 4.6 stars out of 5 because of the slipping slippers. :D Other then that, it’s a great set and Tay loves the absence of pink! I’m sure she will have many sweet dreams in these pajamas. Dreams of soccer balls and dogs. XD

Moral of this post: Get these pajamas if you want your dolls to dream about dogs and lose their slippers in bed. Then they will beg you for a Pomeranian puppy until you finally cave in and buy one.

Just kidding. XD

Will the Pomeranian Pajamas be added to your collection?

P.S. I'm not sure how following a blog with Blogger works (like, if it notifies you when I add your blog to my Blogger reader), but I wanted to let you know that I removed your blog from my Blogger reader. I'm still following your blog with WordPress and I'll receive emails whenever you post. :)

Just thought I'd let you know in case Blogger notified you that I wasn't following your blog anymore. :)

  2. Cute! I would buy them, but $24 is a little much for me (I don’t like to spend more than $5 at a time XD) when I can just sew something a lot like it. I usually sew all my doll clothes anyway, so yeah. :P

  3. The pjs are just so cute! Maybe there called the elasticy part of the pants? Yeah, definitely not. They are really cute though, I want them.
And when you said that the slippers fall off I was thinking, ” yeah, I always loose doll slippers.”
One more thing, you started school already! I don’t start till September! And I’m homeschooled!
