Hello everyone! It’s me, Harper Luna!
I wanna ask you a question. How do you like to start off your mornings? I know my mom usually sits around.. checking Instagram and stuff, playing with the dog, etc. Then she eats breakfast. Maybe that’s how you like to start your day too! :)
Not me! I love to spend my mornings doing one of the most relaxing activities I know – yoga!
There’s a little yoga studio in the neighborhood and I just love walking down the street with my gym bag on my shoulder, ready to start my yoga session.
This may seem strange to a lot of you, but even though I live in a family with a lot of sisters (there’s 10 of us in fact) I don’t quite like being in all the hustle and bustle of family life. It’s just not my personality. That’s why I love getting away from all my sisters each morning. It’s relaxing, and when I get my “me” time. Spending time alone is actually really important for being healthy emotionally. 😌 I sure know that to be true.
Welcome to the studio! I’ll show you around.
The place is decorated with all sorts of plants – I love it! 🌿 These are off in a corner.
Next to the plants, I have my mat. The owner knows I come in everyday.. so she always tries to reserve my room. Sometimes people get a little pushy though – I have to come in earlier on Saturdays or otherwise my room’s taken! 😟 😂
Over there are my shoes. Nothing super special. 😇
I’ll do this warm-stretch here while you look at the tapestry on the wall. Isn’t is beautiful? 😍 I know I’d love to have one in my room. They’re all the rage these days. The colors remind me of fish swimming through the clear water of a bubbling brook. Ah…. ✨
This is my favorite stretch. It makes me feel powerful inside. 💪🏻
Work those abs ladies!! This position was SO hard for me when I first started. My stomach hurt like crazy the next day, but I knew it wasn’t going to get better unless I kept at it. So I did! It doesn’t even hurt that bad now! 😄
Now, those aren’t the only stretches I do but I don’t wanna bore you guys. ;)
Wow, that hour long session went by so fast! Look’s like it’s time to go back home. I’ll just put my shoes on here and.. There we go!
*sighs* That was fun! My yoga session has ended and I know I need to go back to the chaotic lifestyle in the doll household, but yoga really helps my anxiety and breathing. :) Would you want to give yoga a try? Doing a few gentle stretches in the morning never hurt anybody. It’s never to early or late to start a new healthy habit! 😊
