My New Doll Drawing – 2017

    I’m finally ready to reveal my new doll drawing for the coming year! I really debated even making a new doll drawing. I mean, I really love the one I have now, and it even matches my blog theme!! (LOL) But it didn’t reflect my current drawing style, and two of my dolls were missing. So I decided to finish the drawing I had started in February. *smiles guiltily* This drawing is different from the one I have {Read More}

AG’s 30th Birthday Gift to Us – Better Beforever Savings

Yesterday American Girl announced on their Facebook page that they were going to have a special announcement. I tuned in to their page at 7:30 CT. Each Beforever character has a bundle with an outfit or two, and an accessory set. Normally priced at $205 – 210, these bundles are now $150 each, one day only.  That’s a pretty sweet deal if you ask me. These collections remind me more of Jill’s Steals and Deals. The prices are a little {Read More}

The Guiding Compass – Part 14

Back at the dolls’ house, the dolls had just met with the police and had filled them in with all the details. There was nothing they could do but wait for the police to take action. Isabelle had suggested they all watch a little TV to distract them. It didn’t seem to be doing much. Most of the dolls had gathered in the living room, sprawled out on the couch, fold                 out {Read More}

Fringe and Beads: A Photoshoot

Enjoy these colorful pictures of Kaya! I love this picture. She just looks so calm and peaceful. Moccasins!   When I first got Kaya, I was worried that her beads would fall out, since they are not secured. I have had no problem with them; they have always stayed in! Thanks for reading! I always love seeing how the pictures turn out! – American Girl Doll Artist 🙂

Hello, it’s me, Kaya and I’m here to tell the rest of my adventure. If you missed the first part, read it here. So, picking up from where we left off. Well, I was so shocked about Pepper’s disappearance, that I ran back to the place where he was standing. Suddenly, I tripped and landed face-first into the grass. Funny Friday: The Missing Shoes

Hello, Jamie here. Earlier this morning, I had just put on the most fabulous outfit. It had lots of pink in it. Now all I needed was the golden sparkle shoes. I couldn’t find them in my bedroom, where I left them last night. So I went upstairs to ask my sisters. None of them had seen them, so we started looking all around the house for the precious shoes! I looked under the bed…… Kaya looked in the accessories {Read More}

Funny Friday: Kaya’s Fall Adventure Part 1

Hello friends and follows! It’s Kaya here, with Pepper. We sure had an exciting day today! Today, Pepper and I went out for a walk. We were walking along when Pepper started barking like crazy. He ran off, and left me a mile behind. I started running after him. Then I saw what made him so excited! He saw pumpkins! As you probably know, everyone loves pumpkins. So does Pepper. I rolled one onto its side and sat down for {Read More}

Does Kaya have a New Face Mold?

I was looking at the new Beforever Kaya. I though she looked even more like a toddler than my Kaya doll. I pulled up a picture of the old and new Kaya. See a difference? The new Kaya has a longer forehead, or less hair. The new Kaya also has more brownish color in her hair. The old Kaya had almost black hair. The head shape has also changed. I haven’t picked out which one I like better. I like both {Read More}

Getting Ready for School Pictures – a photostory

Kaya and Kanani  were sitting on the Daybed. “Why is your hair like that?” Kaya asked. “I’m curling it for school pictures. I have a fishtail braid in the back,” Kanani explained. “Mommy already did my hair!” Kaya said, turning her head. She had a long French braid running down the side of her head. “That’s nice.” said Kanani, “It’s very pretty.” “What’s pretty?” asked Sarah. Kaya showed her hairstyle to Sarah. “Cool!” Sarah said. “I have a fishtail braid.” {Read More}
